She's off!!!

Our little Raggie is now walking! She still prefers crawling but I can officially say she's walking. It makes me sad that she is growing up so fast! My baby is not a baby anymore! Don't tell Justin, but I did have a moment the other day where another baby sounded kinda fun!! Trust me...I must have been having a good day with the three I already have! I just wish they didn't grow up quite so fast! You will notice Ragen is a little obsessed with her tongue!! She has quite the personality!!

A Visit From Utah!

Yeah...we finally had some visitors!! My sister Jan and her 3 kids decided to take a trip and headed to Seattle for Thanksgiving!! We had a ton of fun with them. My kids absolutely loved them and had so much fun! It was soooo nice to have so many playmates!! I don't think there was a moment where the four of them weren't being mauled by my little stinkers!! Thanks to my "seester" for helping me with Thanksgiving dinner, we did good!! I am so thankful they were able to come and spend some time with my crazy little family! We don't get too many visitors but when we do, we value that quality time more than anything! We got in a few outings while they were here and Jan was so nice and stayed home one night to babysit my kids while we took her kids and had some fun!! Justin and I laughed when we were headed down town how weird it will be when our kids are my niece and nephews ages!! Hope they didn't think we were too lame!!

~Ragen's 1st Birthday!!~

I can't believe my little Raggie is 1!! Time sure is flying by but I can't say I'm having too much fun!! I enjoy my little ones, don't get me wrong, but Oh Boy do they ever stop!!?? I know I will look back someday down the road and say I miss those days but right now we just try to get through the day!! Ragen had so much fun on her special day and she absolutely loved her cake. She has been our first child to actually dig in and eat her cake! You can tell by one of the pictures how excited she was. It was so funny to watch her! Then came the presents! She thought that was great! I didn't think she would really get in to it but it was like she knew what was going on and loved every minute of it! She's still not walking but does go around with her butt in the air like a stink bug! She got a walker and had a lot of fun with it! Halli thought it should be hers and said when she turns 6 she will get one!! Halli had a hard time seeing her little sister celebrate her birthday. To say the least we had about three melt down drop to the floor tantrums. They were just beautiful and so entertaining!! Gotta love our Halli!! Ragen's little personality is so cute and she still loves to smile and has now started doing this funniest look. I can't explain it so you will just have to look at the pictures. She is pulling the new face in the pictures where she is opening presents! Lots of pictures I couldn't pick just a few!!Happy Birthday Raggie, we love you!!

~Happy Halloween~

I think we got in three Halloween parties this year...all on Halloween!! Jaden had his Harvest party at school. They had lots of fun making spiders, measuring pumpkins, and eating lots of yummy snacks! After school we bolted home to have lunch and to make sure the girls got their naps before we were off to our next party! One of Jaden's friends from a near by neighborhood had a Halloween party! It was great! Her mom went to lots of work! They did all kinds of crafts and ate snacks and pumpkin pizza!! After a short stay there we were off to our last party of the night!! Our last stop...some friends house! We ate chili and corn bread and lots of other good grub and then the guys took the little goblins out Trick-or-Treating while the moms stayed in with the babies and had some good laughs and handed out candy! Jaden stayed out a little later with the older kids and they came home with way too much candy!! Jaden and Halli had lots of fun! The Millers had a Happy Halloween!!
**Funny note...Halli told us Jaden was a race car!! What a smart girl, she knows all those buttons and gadgets belong in a race car not on Darth Vader!!

Last year Jaden was "Black Spiderman" and I didn't get a picture without his mask...so this year I actually remembered!!
Halli is showing her "kitty meow" moves!!
The Miller children went dark this year!! We live on the dark side!! Hee Hee!!
Here's daddy's ginormous pumpkin...he was kind of disappointed but he couldn't find a stencil for this bad boy, so he created this!! Good job dad!! Mom did the witch...great job mom!!

Pumpkin Patch

Since we moved to Seattle we have made it tradition to go to the pumpkin patch and each pick out what we think is the "Best" pumpkin!! Well this year was a little different. We have found our favorite...Craven Farms! I don't know about other places but I know I could go to the store and buy cheaper pumpkins but that takes all the fun out of it, right?!! So...this time around we were all searching for that perfect pumpkin, hard to do!! It has to be the perfect pumpkin but it also has to have the perfect thick stem!! After searching and searching and Jaden finding one and then losing it Justin finally came walking back from way out in Timbuktu with this most ginormous pumpkin. It was the perfect pumpkin with the perfect thick stem!! The only bad thing...how much was this sucker going to cost!! Jokingly I told Justin it would be a $30 pumpkin. So much for everyone picking out a pumpkin this year. This one is made up of 5!! As we approached the check out stand I could barely see the prices. They have all different size pumpkins lined up and the price under it and you compare yours to those and get the price. Well, I knew for sure ours couldn't pass for the second to biggest, no it had to be the ginormous size and a whopping 25 smackers!! HOLY CRAP!! Each year I tell Justin we need to go into the pumpkin business so all those suckers out there will drop 25 bones on a pumpkin! You'll have to wait until Halloween to see our prize winning pumpkin!! But here are some pictures from our day!!

Imagination at work!!

Today Justin came home from Costco to put a few things in the garage freezer when he was greeted by this!! Justin with a chuckle calls in to me...."Honey, what's this in the freezer?" I had no clue what he was talking about until I saw the master piece. No I didn't see it before but Jaden had done a few other master pieces prior to this that involved the same concept, so all I could say was, "So...that's what he has been up to!" Oh the imagination of kids!! Poor Iron Man...he's not getting out of this one!!

~Miller Kids~

I have the hardest time taking pictures of my children! Trying to get them to cooperate is almost impossible so...I bugged my friend and she helped me and then she was extra nice and put them in smilebox! Ragen had a great time at our photoshoot as you'll see!!

Kindergarten Begins!!

Jaden started Kindergarten and absolutely loves it!! His teachers name is Mrs. O'Shields and she seems really nice...I think he will like her. So far so good!! He really enjoys riding the bus! The first day of school we walked up to the bus stop and I thought he would hesitate just a bit before getting on the bus...but he didn't even give me a kiss he just jumped on and waved to me like crazy from his seat! I thought I would cry like a baby but I think I was just so proud of him and in shock that I have a child old enough to start school!! The second day of school he told me that is was SUPER!! I hope he continues to enjoy his schools days seems that's what his life will consist of for the next 12+ years. We are so proud of you Jaders and hope you enjoy all your new experiences! We love you!!

UTAH!!

Our trip to Utah has come and gone! We made the long 14 hour (11 if you don't have kids!!) trek to Utah and weren't too sure if we would make it back! It was so nice to go home and see our families since we hadn't been to Utah in a year. This was the first time my brothers and sisters and their families had seen Ragen other than in pictures!! I didn't know how well Ragen would like them but she did just fine. While we were in Utah we got to do a few fun things...like the Box Elder County Fair. It was fun this year because Jaden and Halli could ride the rides together. The crazier the ride the better Halli liked it!! Jaden also got to go on a few bigger rides with his cousin Jake. We also went to the Brigham Pool a few times to cool off. The kids enjoyed splashing in the water and going down the slides. We tried out Cherry Hills while we were down in Bountiful. We spent most of the time in the lazy river and trying to catch some last minute rays!! It was fun but I think I was expecting something a little more exciting! Sorry for those of you who love it!! The best part was spending time with our families and letting them get a grand kid fix!! It was also nice that mom and dad got to escape a few times to enjoy some quiet adult time! I have to say that it was nice not hearing "mom" for a few hours!! Here are a million pictures of our trip, sit back...it may take a minute!!!
