Pumpkin Patch

Since we moved to Seattle we have made it tradition to go to the pumpkin patch and each pick out what we think is the "Best" pumpkin!! Well this year was a little different. We have found our favorite...Craven Farms! I don't know about other places but I know I could go to the store and buy cheaper pumpkins but that takes all the fun out of it, right?!! So...this time around we were all searching for that perfect pumpkin, hard to do!! It has to be the perfect pumpkin but it also has to have the perfect thick stem!! After searching and searching and Jaden finding one and then losing it Justin finally came walking back from way out in Timbuktu with this most ginormous pumpkin. It was the perfect pumpkin with the perfect thick stem!! The only bad thing...how much was this sucker going to cost!! Jokingly I told Justin it would be a $30 pumpkin. So much for everyone picking out a pumpkin this year. This one is made up of 5!! As we approached the check out stand I could barely see the prices. They have all different size pumpkins lined up and the price under it and you compare yours to those and get the price. Well, I knew for sure ours couldn't pass for the second to biggest, no it had to be the ginormous size and a whopping 25 smackers!! HOLY CRAP!! Each year I tell Justin we need to go into the pumpkin business so all those suckers out there will drop 25 bones on a pumpkin! You'll have to wait until Halloween to see our prize winning pumpkin!! But here are some pictures from our day!!
