Jaden's Summer Activities

Jaden played his first year of T-ball...I think he liked it...if not he sure enjoyed playing in the dirt. It's so funny to watch kids play sports at this age. I can't say that any of them were really into it. They stand out in the field and kick the dirt, draw in the dirt, throw their mits in the air, and have all sorts of good times. Jaden had this habit, each time he would run to a base he would pick it up and clean of the dirt, yes...first, second, and third, and then a slide into home plate. I know as the years go on he will take sports more serious, so I guess I better enjoy him being so carefree about them now!! Last week he did a mini sports camp that was three hours for 5 days...boy was that nice and he had a lot of fun. He already wants me to sign him up for next summer. I didn't get any pictures at camp but he told me he enjoyed basketball the most. He told me he made a "hoop"!! Here are a few pictures of T-ball!!

Ragen is 9 Months!

I can't believe my little Raggie is 9 months old today! Even though life is crazy it sure does go by fast! Today Jaden was at Sports Camp, dad watched Halli, and I took Ragen and we went off on our own little photo shoot!! I'm still learning how to use my camera and I thought I got some good pictures until I came home and noticed all the shadows. Photo shop helped me out a little but they are by far perfect!! Any one out there with some advice I'm open for it! Ragen was a little trooper. It was blasted hot and muggy, what a great combo! Gotta love that here in Seattle!! Ragen loves to clap so most of the pictures she was clapping and having a good time! She is full of lots of new tricks and getting very mobile. She can now get to a sitting position by herself and she is really trying to do the "real" crawl instead of army style. I think she could do it but she can get around faster the other way. She has picked up screaming from her brother and sister (it gets pretty loud and crazy around here), she loves to clap and wave bye bye, loves to smile, says dada and mama, and she is as chubby as ever! I'm pretty sure she is pushing 21 lbs. I couldn't get her into the doctor until September so I will post the stats after we go! Notice the chubby little calves and no ankle!! Love you Raggie!!

Halli vs. Pavement

I don't know how many times Halli has gone down this little hill in front of our house, but today she ate it!! I bought her a helmet a few days before and of course the one time she didn't have it on her head all day she crashes on her bike. Well, the pavement won this fight! I hear her crying and Jaden screaming Halli has blood, so of course my heart drops. I get to her to find she has a bloody nose and blood coming from her mouth but I can't tell where. My first thought was, crap she knocked a tooth out so of course that's what I check first. All teeth intact!! Just ended up being her lip, and boy did it get fat. I didn't get to taking a picture the first day and by the time I took it the swelling had gone down, but we captured the boo boo's on the lip and nose! Now she shakes her finger "no" and says, " bike hill!!" Do you think she learned a lesson...NO!! She rode the neighbors bike down the next day and crashed and scraped up her elbow!! Oh the heart attacks children give us!!
Halli loves her bike!! She picked up the pedalling thing pretty fast!!
