Sun = Fun!!

That yellow burning ball of fire we call the sun finally decided to pay the Northwest a visit, and boy was it appreciated!! With bucket and shovel in hand we headed to the beach with some friends. The kids had a fun afternoon playing in the sand, dipping their piggies in the water, building sandcastles, and freely running around!! Come on summer...!!

Halli with her buddy Addie!

Look at that leader! The stick makes it official!

Jaden building his master piece!
What the heck?!! That's some major crack!!

A Visitor!

Grandma Anne came to visit us last week. The kids always love when family comes to town! They can't get enough! For the last few years when Grandma comes in the spring she makes sure to bring along some egg decorating kits. The kids have a lot of fun coloring eggs with grandma, she has a lot more patience with it than I do! Thanks for coming to see us!!
Halli's "cheesy" new smile!!
I told Raggie to smile and this is what she gave me!

Ear Tubes!

Yesterday I took Jaden to Children's Hospital to get his ear tubes! He was so brave and did a great job! I could tell he was so nervous and on the verge of tears a few times, but he sucked it up and put on a very brave face. When it came time to go back to the operating room he wanted me to go with him, so I put on my "hot" white jump suit and hair net and away we went! When we walked through the door I got nervous for him, but he hopped up on the table without a fight, put the mask on and within seconds he was off in dream land! The procedure only took about 10 minutes and then he was back. Hopefully things will get better with his hearing and allergies!! I thought having a little surgery would maybe slow him down for a day or two but that was wishful thinking. He's back to being his crazy self!!! You are a brave boy Jader bug!!

The next day at school, he told his teacher the day he had surgery was his "lucky day" because he got a stuffed whale, stickers, and a popsicle!

Look at Me!

Ragen has decided climbing up on the table is a lot of fun and seeing mom have a heart attack makes it that much more enjoyable! For being our little "sumo" she sure is turning into a little climber! Good excercise, right?!! She is soooo proud of herself can't you tell? Check out the belly, I know she was showing it off for all to see. Don't be jealous! I know Raggie, you're HOT!!

What the....!!

I walked out of the house last weekend to find this standing in my drive way!! I think the first thing out of my mouth was, "Wow, you look hot!" And then, where the heck did you find that get up? Jaden told us that Josh, our neighbor, told him he could play in his garage and these are the treasures he came out with! Notice the boots, this guy wears like a size 13. They look like Frankenstein's boots! Oh the things kids think up! Gotta love ya Jaders!!

Duck Pond!

Today I decided to take the kiddos to feed the ducks while dad worked on his car. Figured we wouldn't be any help so off we went!! Jaden and Halli love to feed the ducks and Raggie...well she would just rather jump in and swim with them. She didn't quite get that we were there to feed the ducks, not her! We have been to a few duck ponds and some of the ducks are rather friendly, they will come up and eat out your hand. Of course the kids freak out, but I kinda like it. Although I have to say, it makes me a little nervous too!! It was a beautiful duck feeding day and the kids had a good time, mom even enjoyed herself!!
Halli giving Ragen a piece of bread to throw, but instead she ate it!!
Halli even snuck a bite!!
Raggie finally caught on but couldn't make it in the water!
Let's try that again!!

Imagine this!!

I'm sad I didn't get a picture of this incident but I didn't know whether to laugh or get mad! So, I'll tell the story as best I can!
This is how it went. We had just gotten home from the gym and I was doing my everyday routine of getting the girls a snack, turning on Caillou, and then making sure the area was safe. I thought I had tied up the fridge secure enough so a 2 year old wouldn't be able to get in to it. So, after making sure the girls were set, I made my way upstairs to start getting ready for the day! I had gotten my make-up done and was just starting to dry my hair when I had this feeling that I should go check on the girls. As I made my way down the stairs I hear Caillou going and I don't see any kiddos watching so I quickly made my way to the kitchen where I find Halli standing with the door wide open and a "Oh no" look on her face! As I get closer I can see the damage! This little stinker had taken the "bagel butter" cream cheese and painted the inside of my fridge, broken an egg in the drawer and put a dollop of cream cheese on top of every single stinken egg in the fridge! This is the part where I didn't know whether to laugh or get mad! I thought about getting the camera but I didn't want her to see me take a picture of her master piece. Being in the freak out mode I grabbed the paper towels and started to clean up! Later I called Justin and told him about it...the first thing he said was, "Did you take a picture?" Next time there will be a photo 'cause I'm kicking myself now!!

Christmas "Take 2"!

The best part about returning to Seattle after our trip to Utah was coming home to see what the "man in red" had left for the little ones! What more could you ask for? Christmas in Utah and then again in Seattle. The kids were sad to leave but we just had to remind them that they had presents waiting for them at home! Santa used his brain this year. Trying to bring home gifts is a nightmare and the gift givers don't always follow the rule of "small gifts" please!! Everything worked out perfect, stockings in Utah and the big stuff at home! This is a tradition I think we'll stick to, now I just have to convince my husband that traveling for the holidays is fun!! Staying home is much easier but being with family is the best!!

Grandma Anne's House

It's always fun to go to Grandma Anne's and Grandpa Rick's! The kids have a great time, they know they can get away with murder at this house!! Jaden has had a hard time learning to share his Grandma Anne with the girls. The two of them share a special little bond!

Halli and Ragen couldn't get enough!

The kids with their cousin Hogan!

Peace Out!!

Talk about fun! Don't they all look thrilled?!

Christmas Day

Christmas morning is always a little chaotic. We wake up bright and early, or I should say the kiddos do, we see what Santa dropped off in Utah, eat a yummy breakfast, pack up, and then we are off to Bountiful to visit the other grandparents! Despite the chaos, we love the time we get to spend with our families!!

Ohhh...Darth Vader!

I love this look when Raggie is deep in thought!

The kids with Grandpa Pete and Grandma Linda!
